Speaking at Public Meetings: If you would like to address the City Council on a scheduled agenda item, please complete the SPEAKER'S CARD. The card is available at the meeting from the City Secretary. Please identify on the card your name, address and the item on which you would like to address. Return the card to the City Secretary. The SPEAKER'S CARD assists the Mayor in ensuring that all persons wishing to address the Council are recognized. Your name will be called at the time the matter is heard by the Council.

PUBLIC COMMENT: Any member of the public may address the City Council on items within the Council's subject matter jurisdiction but which are not listed on this agenda during public comments. However, no action may be taken on matters that are not part of the posted agenda. Public comments are scheduled for 30 minutes and are limited to three minutes per person. If you wish to speak, complete a speaker’s card and submit to the City Secretary.

PUBLIC HEARING: Public Hearings are scheduled for a time certain. Those wishing to address the City Council during the Public Hearing must complete the speaker's card and submit it to the City Secretary prior to the hearing.

El Cenizo City Council Meetings are held every 2nd and 4th Thursdays of the Month at 6:30pm at the El Cenizo City Council Chambers located inside City Hall at 507 Cadena St. El Cenizo, Texas 78046.

Mayor Raul L. Reyes presides over the meetings. As per City Ordinance meetings are conducted both in Spanish with translation into English.

Agendas are posted 72hrs prior to the meeting in  accordance with State Law.

Copies of the Agenda can be obtained at the City Hall  or may be downloaded from our website.

All meetings are open to the public.  Any member of the public who wishes to address the council must fill out a speaker card allowing them 3 minutes to comment on whatever item on or off the agenda.  Public is encouraged to arrive 15 minutes prior to the meeting to fill out the speaker cards located at the entrance of the City Council Chambers.
