 July 18, 2011 – July 22, 2011 – Meetings with department heads of the following department and Committees:

·         El Cenizo Police Department
·         El Cenizo Volunteer Fire Department
·         El Cenizo Solid Waste Department
·         El Cenizo Business Center
·         El Cenizo Parks and Recreation/Ground Maintenance Department
·         Office of the City Secretary
·         Office of the City Commissioners

August 1, 2011 – Mayor Reyes to file the proposed 2011-2012 Fiscal Year Budget.

August 11, 2011 – Mayor Reyes to present and introduce proposed budget to the City Council.

August 25, 2011 – First Public Hearing on the proposed budget.

August 29, 2011 – September 2, 2011 – Citizens, City Commissioners, Department Heads and Committee Heads to submit recommended changed to the proposed budget.

September 8, 2011 – Second Public Hearing on the proposed budget.

September 22, 2011 – Consideration and possible action on the approval of the 2011 -2012 proposed fiscal year budget.

October 1, 2011 – Approved budget in full effect.
