Now that you’re back from the hospital and your family and friends have showered their love on the little baby, you must have found some time for yourself. During those nine months of pregnancy  – you have gone through a critical phase.Now, For several months you need to take care of yourself and your baby.

Let’s talk about breast care Whether you have been feeding your baby or not, some changes will occur in your breast size and shape. You may have started to see breast changes when you are pregnant but after giving birth, the formation of breast milk makes you swell. While some slack is natural, some useful tips that will keep your breasts clean and firm.

DO NOT LET THE EXCESS MILK COLLECT

Breastfeeding is the best choice for a new Moms to avoid congesting the milk duct.

Do not let the milk from getting collected in the breast. Squeeze your nipples and let out the excess milk. Breast infection or mastitis largely due to the collection of milk.

BREAST KEEPING CLEAN AND DRY

After every few hours, keeping the nipple wipe with a clean, damp cloth or paper towel. This will counteract the strain of bacteria due to the moisture in the breast area.

PREVENT PAIN

You may notice some soreness or redness on your nipples at first and may hurt when the baby sucks. Use non-perfumed cream or Vaseline. However, if the pain remains for a long period, then it is advisable to consult a doctor.
